friend: din, are you celebrating valentine's day?
me: what?
friend: i mean, where do you plan to go on tuesday?
me: nowhere!
friend: so you're not celebrating valentine's day?
me: valentine's day are for couples...
friend: and...?
me: duh! i'm single... remember?

(after 10 mins.)

friend: oh.. so you're not going on a date?
me: with who?
friend: with anyone..
me: what?
friend: for valentine's day..
me: no! listen stop it okei?
friend: i was just asking.. why do you hate valentine's day?!
me: listen.. drop it..
friend: okei..

First, let me just say that i DO NOT hate <3 day... there's no reason for me to hate it.. Second, i DO NOT find it corny... (atleast, not 100%) pero kahit hindi ako single, i still won't be celebrating it.. i never did (unless you'd consider greeting back people who came to me smiling and said "happy valentine's day!", as celebrating it.. ) and i guess i never will.. i don't have anything against it... i actually find it romantic.. (the cheesy way romantic.. hehe.. which is sometimes good.. ) and i think people become nicer.. and SOME couples are surprisingly adorable.. hehehe.. plus when you sit yourself on a bench at a park and look around you on valentine's day, its like watching a romantic silent movie... you see my point is... i don't find it.. ummm, what's the word?! fair?! that MOST people only celebrate their love (naks!) on February 14... that they only organize surprises, make extra effort to show how much someone really means to them on that certain day because tradition tells them to do so.. its just not right.. people should do it every single day of their coupling life...

In Memory of Don Andrea Santoro

A 15-year-old assailant shot and killed an Italian Catholic priest in the Turkish city of Trabzon on Sunday, shouting the opening phrase of the Muslim call to prayer before he fled the scene.

Father Andrea Santoro, 60, was shot twice in the back on February 5 as he knelt praying after Sunday afternoon mass in the front row of the Santa Maria Catholic Church. The two bullets pierced his heart and liver, a local prosecutor said, killing him almost instantly.

According to a report released late this afternoon by the private NTV television station, “during his first interrogation the youth confessed that he committed the murder as a reaction against the caricatures of the prophet Muhammad.” (source: compass direct)



How, could someone please explain me how a 15-yr-old kid do such a thing...?!
What i think? May bagong kumakalat na video with a Jesus Christ walking down the street sa tune ng i will survive & He got hit by a truck (truck nga yata un...) I saw the video sa headline ng TgLa7 (television news).. anyhow, i totally agree with what the newscaster said.. that they are overreacting, if we christians would react the same way na nag-rereact sila.. mag-kaka-WW3 (period.).

Sense & Fascinating

okei.. if life has sense then living life won't be as complicated as it is... and probably it won't be worth living it.. i mean wala na yung gusto... life is already tedious by nature.. yung pag-hahanap natin sa sense ng buhay (or kung bakit tayo nabuhay?) eh isa sa mga (konting?) dahilan kung bakit hanggang ngayon eh buhay pa rin tayo.. or atleast, ako.. hehehe... i mean, take me for example, i'm 21, i found out my oldest brother has cancer (tho paulit-ulit nya sinasabi na he's feeling better.. i know na sinasabi nya lang yun 'coz he's the oldest.. i know.. i know..), i lost my father last october, i have PCOS, my family's tearing apart (w/c in some way was expected..), i dropped school 2 months ago, i'm unemployed, i have no life... or better yet my life sucks.. BIG TIME!... now tell me.. if i know why i am here... kung alam ko ang sense ng life... may reason pa ba for me to stay here?! uuuggghhh... life's unfair...

Platinette anyway, there's this one person named Platinette, real name Mauro Coruzzi, and for some reason that i don't know and can't explain... (and i really don't care why) i am fascinated by her. fascinated in a way that i find her astute, funny, straight forward and know what she wants...and eventually gets it.. i'm not fascinated that "when i grow up, i wanna be just like her!" way.. yung mga nakatira dito, sigurado ako na kilala nila si Platinette, and sigurado ako na may mga nag-tataas na ng kilay dyan... & probably thinking na i'm weird... (anu pa bang bago?) pero kung iisipin nyo talaga & papakinggan yung mga sinasabi nya & yung mga ideas nya, kahit pabiro nya sinasabi (and most times in a sarcastic way), may sense pa din sya.. pinagagaan nya yung mga sobrang hirap intindihin na topics, tipong ginagawa nyang casual yung formal.. hehe.. basta..

i know.. this is the exact same entry i posted sa friendster... hehe.. tc ev'ryone.. =)

i spent the last 15 mins. typing the longest entry i ever typed (huh?)... crying my heart out.. trying to express how i feel at the moment... and my reliable portable hunged up... twice! and i lost my entry.. and i gave up... hehehe.. maybe hinde pa ngaun ung right time to open my <3... destiny?!

kelangan ko lang siguro ipa-ayos portable ko... mag-1 week ng nag-loloko eh... next time ko na lang kayo papagodin sa kakabasa.. hehehe.. wow.. na-miss ko 'tong pag-blo-blog.. hehe.. tc ev'ryone! =)
