Italian television

gggrrr ... i'm a self-confessed tvholic and since Italy's educational system isn't really on my side, i've had more time to spend infront of my beloved television. i love watching flicks and television series/shows, i (somehow) enjoyed "life is beautiful" but it's really rare to find anything good that is not, originally french, german, american, australian or from any other english speaking country. my parent's have been living here for (give or take) 30 years now, and i would listen to them talking 'bout all these great italian actors/actresses/comedians that i don't seem to find. *sighs* too bad, with nothing to do for the whole two weeks, these people could really make a difference in my tv-watching, (but still there's some italian old movies that are good). infairness, i think italian music (music artists) is simply f-a-b!

i wish i could go to venice and party, instead!

the problem with Sig. Cuervo and me



you see the thing is i started drinking when i was in 2nd year high school, yes, i was 14 and i was drinking like hell . i skipped school so i can have a can or two of that red horse beer and attended classes even after drinking. but still i knew how to handle myself (even if people say that it's the strongest beer in the market) i got good grades and was considered as a well-behaved student. i'm one of those drinker na diretso sa tiyan, hindi sa ulo (where the alcohol go straight to my stomach and not in the head, is that the right english translation? ). i haven't had a drinking session for atleast two years now, the last time was like october 2003 at my sister's place in MD. i wasn't alcohol free, i'd drink a bottle of beer, have 2-4 shots of tequila, every now and then, but that was that, it ended there. and in all these years i only threw up once [only because my kainuman (drinking partner) was serving dinuguan (-i have no idea what dinuguan in english is) with beer] and i never got drunk and did anything stupid only to regret it the next day.
so, what's the problem with me and Sig. Cuervo? well, today's asmae's birthday, she had classes so we didn't have the chance to party up.. not that we REALLY party, she belonging to a different religion doesn't give us enough opportunities to party it up, and by that i mean NO ALCOHOL. *bummer* so instead, i decided to meet up with some friends (not friends-friends more like friends-acquaintances, it's like more than acquaintances but less than friends.. hehe!) and we hit another friends' unit and there once again i see Sig. Cuervo, in my entire life i've only had 4 shots of tequila in one drinking sessions, my whole drinking session life is mostly made up of beers. there it was my 7th shot then the 8th, the 9th... the 10th.. that was my last shot. after that last shot... nothing.. silence... peace... i was drunk passed out but after a couple of hours i woke up with a dreadful headache!! and i've been here in my bed for a whole day, feeling like a merde, realizing that me and Sig. Cuervo have some problems... but as they say "practise makes perfect".. !!! so bring on the tequilla!
