Silvio Gazzaniga, sculptor, born in Milan, in 1921, is the artist who designed and created the 2006 FIFA World Cup Trophy said
"I want the World Cup to come home".
and it did! against all odds ang drama ng italian team dahil weeks (if not days) before the world cup eh sumabog ang eskandalo tungkol sa italian football. lahat daw eh mina-maliit at "inapi" ang mga azzuri.
